After months of speculations about which boat is the faster one. The Battle started at Eurocat 2009 a couple of days ago. Boskalis Team Styles/Van West won this prestigize event and showed the potential of the Nacra F18 Infusion they are sailing. Nacra shows to be on top of the F18 class by first becoming European & World Champion and now to win Carnac, Eurocat. This is the boat to beat.

Long distance race

On saturday the long disctance race of Carnac was sailed and Team Styles came in as third boat on the line but the second boat that came in did not sail the proper course and was not disqualified for that. The second boat should of been disqualified for not sailing the course as only boat where they gained a 800meters with. We like to see this in another way as Styles and Bundock where both whitness of this incident but the racecommitee could not throw out the second finisher after all. Very big disappointment and we like to think that Styles/Van West also won the long distance race of Carnac as they should of won this onhandicap easily. First over the line was a Marstrom 20 of William Sunnucks and Fraz! They usually sail an Infusion too.

The results are not there yet in full but if we get them we will post them straight away!
